An Uncomfortable Realization

James Clear recently asked, “If your family inherited only your habits …, which ones would be your richest gifts?”¹ I was struck by the question, and not in a good way. The reality is that my “habits” recently consist of being distant and grumpy. Sure, I have my own stuff going on, but I have done a poor job insulating my family from it.
